Description

A323/A320 SCOPE OF WORK Renovate X-Ray room A320 & A323, project 528A7-10-703. The base bid for this project proposes to renovate an existing X-ray Room, A320, and an existing file room, A324, of approximately 520 sq ft located in the Imaging Wing of the Syracuse VA Medical Center. This space will be used to construct a new Imaging Room to house a General electric Imaging machine GE Project #103361. Bid Option #1 proposes to renovate an existing former X-Ray room, A323, and an electrical closet, A325, of approximately 398 sq ft, located in the Imaging wing of the Syracuse VA Medical Center. This space will be used to construct both an Electrical Closet to house both 208V and 480V feeder panels, and to create a room to house the existing Desitometry equipment currently located in M312. Additionally, Bid Option #2 proposes to make changes to bathrooms A335 and A318A, and Dressing Room A318. Bid Option #3 proposes to open a new doorway to bathroom A318A. This project will likely refinish and reuse most of the existing walls, replace all existing lighting, ceiling, floor tile, asbestos mastic abatement, all necessary cabling for voice and data lines for use with the X-Ray machine and staff computer and phone needs, mechanical equipment, ductwork, and plumbing for the current space. Solicitation # VA528-11-RP-0125 to be issued on or about April 15, 2011.
