Description
Broad Agency Announcement #2011-N-13319 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), Behavioral Interventions and Research Branch within the Division of STD Prevention issues Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Number 2011-N-13319 under the provisions of FAR 35.016 and FAR 6.102(d)(2) which provides for the competitive selection of research proposals. Contracts that are awarded based on responses to this BAA are as a result of full and open competition and therefore in full compliance with the provisions of PL 98-369, "The Competition in Contracting Act of 1984". The BAA can be found as an attachment to this synopsis. CDC contracts with educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, not for profit organizations, state and local government, and private industry for research and development (R&D) in those areas covered in Part II of this BAA. The NAICS code for this BAA is 541712, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government anticipates making multiple awards as a result of this BAA. This BAA is open and in effect for 22 days from the date of release (April 1, 2011 through April 22, 2011). THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE CALL FOR WHITE PAPERS for the program entitled, "Connecting Youth to High-Quality Reproductive Healthcare Services in the Community: Developing Adaptation Guidance for an Effective Health Systems Intervention". Prior to submission of a white paper offerors are strongly encouraged to contact the CDC BAA Technical Coordinator, Dr. Patricia Dittus, at (404) 639-8299. White papers must be received by April 22, 2011 in order to be considered for further evaluation.
