Description
FY11 SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES (SOF) OPERATIONS (OPS) AND TRAINING FACILITY AND AN UNMANNED AERIAL SUPPORT (UAS) SQUAD OPS FACILITY AT CANNON AIR FORCE BASE (CAFB), CURRY COUNTY, NEW MEXICO. The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted acquisition, and thus open to large and small businesses. NAICS is 236220/SIC 1542, with a size standard of $33,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Offerors attention is directed to Section 00100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site. Plans will be issued on or about 25 April 2011, with proposals due on or about 25 May 2011. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, cancelled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT consists of the construction of a new two story 81,780 square foot 3rd/33rd Squadron Operations facility at Cannon Air Force base, Curry County, Clovis, New Mexico. This project will include site work & utilities, concrete slab, masonry walls and steel frame construction, standing seam metal roof, stucco exterior, mechanical & electrical systems, elevator systems, force protection requirements, fire protection/detection/annunciation/alarm systems, MIRP/SIPRnet systems, controlled access areas, generators, atrium, offices, operation area, equipment rooms, break/kitchen areas, raised flooring systems, and interior design specialties. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government. Proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
