Description

DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE; THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, INVITATION FOR BID, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking sources for the continued maintenance and support of the Alerton IBEX for Windows Energy Management Control System (EMCS) equipment and its associated hardware and components. The Contractor shall provide onsite support two days or sixteen (16) hours per month over a twelve (12) month period for SSA in Richmond, CA. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, material, and support to monitor and perform preventive maintenance to the EMCS. Alerton Technologies is the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM). Syserco Inc. is the only known authorized and licensed distributor and Service Company for Alerton Technologies in the San Francisco Metropolitan Bay Area. Programming language used by the IBEX Alerton System is proprietary to Alerton and its franchised distribution and service network. The Social Security Administration is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as part of a market research to determine the availability of services, products, and capabilities in the market place. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Information obtained from the industry responses to this notice may be used in the development of the acquisition strategy and future request for quotes. A draft Statement of Work is attached; the anticipated performance period is 10/01/2011 through 9/30/2012.
