- This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only and to also allowIndustry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, aswell as promote competition. Fire Alarm System Eligibility Requirements NASA/JSC is seeking Potential Vendors with capabilities that meet or exceed the followingrequirements:All fire alarm system panels and components shall communicate directly and discreetlywith the existing JSC Edwards System Technologies (EST) Fireworks network and head endgraphical dispatch display. Equipment shall preserve complete UL listed command andcontrol functionality to any fire alarm control panel on the network remotely from theEmergency Operations Center (Building 30) and Building 25 command centers. Command andcontrol functions include, but are not limited to, discrete messaging with graphics,remote panel reset, ability to enable and disable building panel functions remotely,ability to acknowledge trouble and supervisory conditions remotely, and discretemessaging by building floor of all buildings with mass notification through the networkand through the fire alarm speaker system. All functions shall be performed through theexisting head end EST Fireworks graphical display and control computers. All fire alarmsystem panels, detectors, and components shall be interchangeable with existing ESTpanels and network to prevent duplicate purchasing and stocking of critical spare parts. Candidate fire alarm manufacturer is required to provide training and certification ofJSC Fire Technicians employees for installation, programming, inspection, and repair ofall fire alarm panels and related devices.Vendors having the capabilities to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited tosubmit your appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references to thefollowing address:NASA/Lyndon B. It is the potential Offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release ofany solicitation or synopsis. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as acommitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited.Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
