Description
NSN 2540-01-542-5419- Part Kit, Seat Belt being bought in accordance with (62323) Conax Florida Corporation P/N 2005160-3. Based on market research and contracting officer review this item is determined to be Commercial; therefore, the Government will be using the policies contained in FAR Part 13.5 in its solicitation for this item. The required quantity is 2629 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 4/1/11. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and delivery. There will be phased delivery requested for this procurement. 600 units to be delivered every 30 days after date of award until full quantity of 2629 each is met/delivered. This procurement will not contain an option. This synopsis and the stated solicitation for this procurement are being posted at the same time. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested parties may submit an offer. ( X ) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 4/1/11 ( X ) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. ( X ) This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: (62323) Conax Florida Corporation P/N 2005160-3 ( X ) While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, socioeconomic, mentoring business agreements program, and ability one as described in the solicitation.
