Description
A. Statement of Requirements. The Government is seeking to enter into a lease for space meeting the following requirements: City, State: Chicago, IL Delineated Area: Offered location must be within two blocks of the US District Court located at the Dirksen Federal Building at 219 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL. Or defined as: North: Monroe Street South: Congress Parkway East: Michigan Avenue West: LaSalle Street Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 60,870 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 52,930 Space Type: Office and Related Space Parking Spaces (Total): 0 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 10 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: The US Government's existing lease in downtown Chicago will be expiring and the Government is considering if it would be economically advantageous to relocate. In addition to the rental costs, the Government will also factor in costs of moving to a new location including, but not limited to, physical move, tenant improvements, above-standard/specialized alterations/equipment, furniture relocation, telecommunications, and other related costs. Note that these same costs may not be factored in when evaluating whether it is most advantageous to the Government to remain in the current lease location. Subleases will not be considered. Offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire, Safety and Handicapped Accessibility, and Sustainability set forth in the Solicitation for Offers. Offered space shall not be in the [100/500] year flood plain. B. Projected Dates.
