Description

SOLICITATION NO. F11PS00479 PROJECT TITLE: Prairie Creek Underground Storage Tank (UST) Investigation. PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge 8588 Route 148 Marion IL, 62959-5822 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of providing superintendence, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to plan, design, and implement a Stage 2 site investigation that includes taking soil borings, collecting soil and water samples, and performing soils and water analysis on the site where a Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) was removed in 1995. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is a set-aside for small business. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 541380 Environmental testing laboratories or services, with a size standard of $12 Million. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about April 19, 2011 with Quotes due on or about May 18, 2011. The Solicitation Package will include the following: An itemized Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded Solicitation Package before submitting your Quote. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov to be eligible for award.
