Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) W917JV-11-T-4010 and constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-41. This combined synopsis/solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business. North American Industrial Classification Standard 334220 applies to this solicitation; business size standard is 750 employees. The following items are needed as Brand Name or Equal (52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal.): 0001-AA 6 Meter telescoping HMMWV hydraulic mount to support FLIR SAFIRE, Wil- Burt P/N:711200690, Standard Stiletto Mast in Desert Tan, 2 EA Salient Features in addition to basic operation similarities: - does not require guylines and still provide +/- 1 degree of twist and survival wind speed of 100 mph. - Non-rotatable self locking sections: allows mast to lock at any height without power for increased safety of personnel and payload (expensive FLIR cameras) and it also provides tight antenna pointing accuracy for target designating - controls provide a height readout and computer interface (remote operation capable) - electric drive for extension and retraction - designed and tested to meet MIL-STD-810 environmental standards for operations in extreme conditions 0002-AA Shipping to 125 STS Portland, OR 0003-AA Shipping to 123 STS, Louisville, KY This notice is for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation/synopsis. All responses must be submitted in writing to the contracting specialist. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
