- This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. It is intended as a method of informing potential contractors of a possible contracting action to procure TTU-595A/E Laser-guided bomb test sets. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The USAF is seeking potential contractors for an anticipated procurement. In order to qualify to become a source of repair, demonstration, analysis, environmental testing, or other verification testing may be required at the discretion of the government. Procured assets shall be form, fit and function compatible to current existing U.S. Government configuration(s). A Firm-Fixed Price arrangement, IDIQ type contract to procure TTU-595A/E Laser-guided Bomb Test Set (NSN 4925-01-573-1391) is being contemplated at an estimated ceiling value of $12,500,000. The contract may include purchasing subcomponents of the TTU-595A/E and/or purchasing complete test sets. The US Government owns the technical data package for this procurement. Please note that these numbers are estimates only and in no way obligate the US Government. Deliveries are anticipated to be no later than 12-24 Months after Award, with award estimated to be made June 2012. It is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued in June 2011 with a closing date in July 2011. If an offeror desires technical information, he or she may contact the program engineer by written request at OO-ALC/GHGGC, 6034 Dogwood Avenue, Bldg. 1257, Hill AFB, UT 84056-5816, Attn: Lt Nathan Greiner (801) 777-6256, or by E-Mail at nathan.greiner@hill.af.mil. Interested offerors should respond to this sources sought by the date identified below. Written responses may be sent to the Contracting Officer at OO-ALC/GHGKA, 6033 Elm Lane, Bldg. 1247, Hill AFB, UT 84056-5825, Attn: Nathan Lee (801) 777-0134, or by email as described below. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining industry interest in the potential upcoming procurement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation and will be posted to www.fbo.gov when issued. Firms responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide OO-ALC/GHG with capability statements, which at a minimum need to include: § Company Name, address, & Associated CAGE code § Point of Contact Name and Number and email address § Business Status (8(a), Small, HUBZone, Woman-owned, etc.) if applicable § Capability Statement that pertains to the Sources Sought All interested contractor must be registered in CCR to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
