- SF30 AMENDMENT A00003 FORM QUESTION AND ANSWERS 4/5/2011 AMENDMENT A00003 IS TO CLARIFY CONTRACTORS QUESTIONS. PLEASE SEE ATTACHEMENTS FOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AND SF30 AMENDMENT FORM. 1. QUESTION: 3.1.3 and 3.1.4 Labor and Training Please clarify Coast Guard personnel performance of minor tasks at discretion of Contractor. During previous W-5 contract work, Contractor was provided 4 or 5 Coast Guard personnel for minor tasks. ANSWER: Ships Force will assist the contractor. 2. QUESTION Workspace: Will there be an area for Contractor to store engine parts that have been removed and workspace to clean parts or will Contractor need to provide container for this purpose? ANSWER: Storage: Govt. will provide storage for GFE and will be responsible for returning mandatory turn-in items. Contractor will be responsible for stowing his own equipment. 3. QUESTION: Will the Coast Guard provide the following: oil filter air filter fuel filter engine oil water inhibitor distilled water ANSWER: YES to all the above 4. QUESTION: In the Schedule of Supplied Services under the Option Renew Cylinder Liner are we to provide a price for the labor and misc parts to install the "GFP" Liner? ANSWER: YES 5. QUESTION: Section 1.2 Government Furnished Property lists injector with retainer. Yet it isn't mentioned in section 3.23 Government Furnished Property and Component Renewal. Are the injectors supplied by the USCG? ANSWER: YES 6. QUESTION: "consolidated list of government-furnished property" found on page VI as well as page 8 section 1.2 - this list has several items marked with ** indicating that the government MAY supply them. Can you clarify this? ANSWER: GOVT WILL PROVIDE FURNISHED PROPERTY 7. QUESTION: 3.2.2 on page 10 "non-government furnished part and component renewal" Can you please provide us with serial numbers for the engines on the USCG Sailfish as these parts are serial number specific and cannot be procured without this information. ANSWER: SERIAL NUMBERS ARE 1MDE 5565429 / 2MDE 5565659 8. QUESTION: 3.1 General requirements on Page 3 "the contractor shall conform to all requirements specified in SFLC Standard Specification 0000" does this include the severe weather plan? This plan entails things like "size, type, and number of lines to be used to secure the vessel" this is awfully detailed for someone that is simply performing an engine service. ANSWER: NO
