Solicitation SOL-R5-10-00008 Final Version Amendment 2 SF-30 ****NOTICE TO OFFERORS - The final amendment for this solicitation is now released, no additional changes are planned. Additionally, the due date for responses has been changed to Monday, April 11, 2011 at 4:00 PM Chicago Time. **** The purpose of this solicitation notice is to notify potential offerors of U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issuance of a solicitation for the Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) procurement initiative in support of the Region's GLLA sediment cleanup needs. The contract will be placed and administered by Region 5, located in Chicago, IL, with the period of performance scheduled to begin in the month of June 2011. This will be a firm fixed price Performance Based contract with a three year base and two (2) two-year options. The estimated ceiling of the contract will be $150 million, with three contracts anticipated to be awarded under this solicitation number. The work under this order will be performed at various locations in the Great Lakes and Regions 5, 2 and 3 which encompasses the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and New York. Contract services include performance of site management; implement sediment remedial actions; implement habitat restoration; conduct source control activities; develop bids and specification documents; construction management for implementing sediment remedial actions, including issuing and managing subcontracts for construction of the selected sediment remedy and engineering services in overseeing construction and engineering evaluation. Services may include technical and management services supporting EPA's coordination and oversight of sediment remedial activities where they are performed by a State, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), or the Agency's non-federal sponsor under the GLLA. **Additional Information - The US EPA intends to award contracts for construction under this solicitation number, and for design and technical assistance under a different solicitation, both in support of the Great Lakes Program. Prime contractors and first tier subs will not be eligible for an award under both solicitations. This only applies to these announcements; contractors who hold other EPA contracts (ERRS, START, RAC, etc.) will not be barred from an award.
