- This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. The Military Sealift Fleet Support Command has a requirement for the USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) for a Pier Side Mid-Term Availability on/about 1 August 2011 for 45 days. The place of performance will be at Naval Station San Diego, CA. While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows: Propulsion Train Inspections and Repairs (VR10-020 and 09-059) Boiler Control De-Super-heater replacements (VR09-070) Automation System Grooms and Repairs Controller Replacement (VR07-21 and 10-20) Various Steam Valve and Relief Valve Overhauls VR10-39 and 10-25 Tile Replacement (VR10-005) A'Body Reefer and A/C Plant Freon Conversion (VR08-31) Forced Draft Blower Room Ventilation Ducting Replacement Weather Deck Preservation (VR09-52) Underway Thermographic Survey #2 Main Circulating Pump Lube Oil Purifier Overhaul (VR10-32) O2N2 Duplex Strainer Requires Cofferdam Stateroom Decking/Flooring Stateroom Heads (VR09-68) Ventilation Duct Cleaning Life Boat Grooms (VR07-48) Lifeboat and Liferaft Davits Repairs Please provide a response demonstrating your firm's experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,000 employees.
