Description

Brand Name Justification The Forest Service, Washington Office/Acquisition Management, IT Support Branch intends to issue a Brand Name request for quote to Cisco Authorized Resellers on NASA SEWP IV. See the attached Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition Brand Name. The Forest Service will evaluate the quotes based on lowest evaluated price of a proposal meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. The non-cost factors are: 1) Technical capability in providing new and not refurbished CISCO equipment matching the CISCO part number in the solicitation; 2) Vendor must be at a minimum CISCO premier or higher certified; 3) the proposed delivery schedule (consideration will be given to OEM delays); and, 4) trade-in value offered on returned equipment. Price competition is expected from authorized resellers. Any inquiries may be directed to dlandmesser@fs.fed.us via email with referenced solicitation number no later than 12 NOON MT on May 4, 2011.
