Description

United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, C&PD2, Long Range Enforcer Product Line to solicit an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for dockside repairs and miscellaneous ship repair for various 378' high endurance cutters, 418' maritime security cutters large and other PACAREA cutters home moorage in Alameda, CA. This contract will consist of a 12-month base year and four 12-month option years. Work item will include, but not limited to temporary services dockside provide, commissary hoist Level 2 inspect and repair, warping capstan Level 2 inspect and repair, oily water separator (GEN) overhaul, vent ducting cleaning main engine air intakes, MDE filter pod renewal, fuel oil manifold valves overhaul, EGT day tank preserve. On or about 01 May 2011, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a 100% small business set aside. Multiple awards may be made under this solicitation. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration.
