- Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Kidde Fire Trainers for the following service: Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, tools, equipment, appliances, materials and transportation necessary to perform two Planned (Preventive) Maintenance Services and one year Unplanned (Corrective) Maintenance for Symtron T-1000 at Fort Gordon, (Augusta) GA, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The NAICS Code is 811219. Period of performance will be 1 year commencing 1 May 2011. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisiton Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competion of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 4pm, 13 April 2011, award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
