- Description
- The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns, for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB) or for Small Business. The acquisition is for Temporary Berthing for the personnel of the CGC SPENCER. The cutter will be dry docked at the CG YARD in Baltimore, MD. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about 12 Apr 2011 with a performance period of FIFTY-FOUR (54) calendar days and a start date on or about 18 Apr 2011. The estimated price for this availability is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The NAICS Code is 721110. The scope of the acquisition is to provide temporary lodging for 100 Coast Guard personnel within a ten mile radius of the vessel's location during the dry dock contract. Provide four (4) single occupancy and forty-eight (48) double occupancy rooms. At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Small Business set aside. However, if you believe your company can provide above stated requirement, please respond and include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers.
