Description: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2, Division of Contracting and General Services plans to issue a Request for Proposal Number F11PS00556. The Solicitation will be posted on or about 06 April, 2011 The Work consists of the following: Furnish all labor, materials, employee training, services, insurance, and equipmentto carry out the asbestos removal in accordance with EPA and OSHA regulations,and with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Government regulations. Remove, and dispose of RACM that is stockpiled stock piled next to an abandoned building and in the approximate quantities: a. +/- 675 sf of roofing panels containing 40% chrysotile asbestosb. +/- 675 sf of roofing felt material containing 10% chrysotile asbestos. This solicitation will be advertised as a Total Small Business set-aside. We are seeking certified Small Business contractors in the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 562112- Hazardous Waste Collection $12.5 Mil.
