Description

IBM SurePOS 566 Display This is action is for the procurement of eleven (11) IBM 500 Sure POS 566 machines. These machines will be used in support of the Common Food Management System (CFMS) Operational Assessment 2 (OA 2) at the US Marine Corps (USMC) base in Quantico Virginia and will be deployed at seven different cafeteria sites on the base. The acquisition effort will be performed pursuant to 10.USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1(c) of the Federal Acquisition Regulations entitled "Application of Brand Name Descriptions." The Brand Name descriptions for this acquisition effort which are comprised of hardware and software from the following manufacturers are considered to be essential in order for the Government to meet the requirements of this critical acquisition.
