Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for a supply that is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-51. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quote ( RFQ 247874) for an Upgrade for a High Pressure Calibration System 905C. This procurement is brand name or equivalent if quoting an equivalent the product quoted must be able to be integrated with the existing model without making a modification other than upgraded software. The procurement is non-restricted and the NAICS code is 334419 - Other Electronic Component Manufacturing. The United States Secret Service current system is a 905C which uses an old DOS system an upgrade is required for a new windows based software package that will be able to integrate with the existing Model 905C High Pressure Calibration System that is used for calibration of pressure sensors and brass ammunition. Quotes should be provided for a standalone, turnkey dynamic pressure calibration system which integrates with a 905C High Pressure Calibrator to generate a know step function input for calibration from 10,000 psi to 100,000 psi. (Model K9905C01). All quotes should include cost for installation and training on location in Laurel, MD. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. All quotes shall be submitted in electronic format and emailed to Danielle Donaldson at danielle.donaldson@usss.dhs.gov by no later than 21 April 2011, 10:00am EST. Hard copy proposals will not be accepted. All quotes must includes RFQ number. Offerors shall provide pricing, technical specifications meeting the requirement.
