- Synopsis: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Washington, D.C., is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services for male and female inmates. The location of services is to be within a ten (10) mile radius of the Gastonia United States Post Office, located at 301 West Main Avenue, Gastonia, North Carolina 28052, and on the local bus route. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government and all quantities are estimated for the Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services. The estimated services for the base year and each option year are as follows (All session will equal 30 minutes in duration): Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 15, Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 15 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 12 sessions x 15 inmates = 180 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 96 sessions x 15 inmates = 1,440 sessions; Mental Health Intake, 1 per inmate x 10 inmates = 10 each; Individual Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 20 sessions x 10 inmates = 200 sessions; Group Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 48 sessions x 10 inmates = 480 sessions; Psychiatric Evaluation (one assessment and report per inmate) for 10 inmates; Medication Monitoring (2 each per inmate) for 10inmates. The services above shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated April 2010 - Master's required. The request for quotation will be available on or after April 20, 2011, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The estimated closing date is on or about May 18, 2011. The solicitation will be set aside 100% Small Business. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract.
