- Grounds Maintenance and Tree Trimming Services at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii. This requirement will combine the grounds maintenance and tree trimming service for Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The work includes, but is not limited to the contractor providing all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Hickam Air Force Base (AFB) in a manner that will maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs and plants and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining any trees or parts of trees. The work includes installation of irrigation systems. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete management, operation and maintenance of all water control devices and irrigation systems. The contractor must be flexible and responsive to necessary adjustments in scheduling, including short notice response, to accommodate base operations. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561730 and the annual size standard is $7.0 million. The contract term will be a base period plus two option years. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. IDIQ work will be issued via the DOD EMALL, a web-based ordering system, using Government purchase cards. Information about the current contracts will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. All interested offerors shall register at the website. No notice of solicitation activity will be provided to interested offerors. The proposed contract is limited to qualifying 8(a) firms. The Government will not consider offers from other than 8(a) firms. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers.
