Description
Wildlife Habitat Improvement: Wildlife Tree Creation; Course Woody Debris Creation; and Pruning Services. The Olympic National Forest, Washington, intends to acquire by contract services for wildlife habitat improvement. This solicitation is for three basic types of services: (1) wildlife tree creation; (2) course woody debris creation; and (3) pruning services. Period for performance is for five (5) years from date of award. Project Manager is Ms. Karen Holtrop, 360-765-2206.. The government will proceed to issue a solicitation commercial service as a Request for Proposals, under FAR Part 12. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offerors will be evaluated on price, experience, and past performance. The Forest Service intends to award two to six Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC). Contract awards will be to the offerors whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the government. Service Contract Act wage rates apply to any resulting contracts. The proposed contract-type is indefinite quantity. This solicitation will be available on or about April 25, 2011. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//.
