- RFI-Initial Industry Engagement This is a Presolicitation, Request for Information (RFI). This is GSA's first outreach intended to engage industry in an exchange of ideas that will assist us in refining our IT infrastructure service requirements and structuring the pending procurement for GSA's technology operations program. The GSA technology operations program is the GSA, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) consolidated program that supports their role as the Information Technology (IT) service provide for the agency. The initial GSA IT Infrastructure Technology Global Operations (GITGO) task order was awarded to Catapult Technology, Ltd. on February 28, 2007, and is worth in excess of $200 million over a 5-year period of performance. The final option year for the current GITGO task order ends April 9, 2012. In order to provide sufficient time for an orderly transition, GSA is anticipating award of a follow on task order/contract during the second quarter of FY 2012. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI will be treated as business confidential information, and exempted from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses, accordingly, if the information is considered to be confidential or proprietary. Responses to the RFI will not be returned nor is it GSA's intent at this phase to exchange information or to provide feedback to your responses. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot/will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Please note, this is an opportunity for interested parties to provide meaningful feedback to the GSA, OCIO in the early stages of the need definition. This should not be viewed as a marketing opportunity, but as an opportunity for good corporate citizenship to show your best interest in a more effective and efficient government. Thoughtful participation is encouraged. How to Respond to Questions that are listed in the below attached document: Please submit your written responses to the attached questions no later than April 25, 2011, 12pm (EST) via email "only" to the primary contact: Denise D. The attached document contains a total of eighteen (18) directed questions. You may answer any or all of the questions, to the best of your ability. Please respond using the number of the question found in the attachment. Please limit responses to a maximum of twenty (20) pages total, for all eighteen (18) questions or any portion thereof.
