Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Denver Acquisition and Logistic Center, 155 Van Gordon St., Lakewood, CO, 80228, hereby gives notice of its intent to award a sole source contract to Fair Health, Inc., 2 Clinton Square, Syracuse, NY 13202, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Market research has revealed that this contractor is the only source capable of providing this unique data. Under the contemplated contract, Fair Health Inc. will provide dental data for the payment and reimbursement rate by CDT code. The data will be provided in a format for integration into existing VA business information systems. Data will be organized nationally by the first five or three level zip code regions, and from the 40th to 100th percentile ranges. The data must be current and based on an adequate number of claim or survey data points. This data will be utilized by approximately 140 VA facilities, a limited number individuals at the VA Centralized Business Office, and the VA Office of Dentistry. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition.
