Description

DRAFT Request for Proposal and Industry Forum date (April 13, 2011) DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY VA Medical Center Perry point, MD This procurement is for an Enhanced Use Lease (EUL) opportunity at the Perry Point campus of the VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS). The EUL site is a 28.9 acre parcel with 60 existing historic houses. The VA objective of the RFP is to receive proposals from Offerors to redevelop the EUL site to provide supportive housing for homeless Veterans and Veterans at risk of homelessness under a long-term ground lease with VA for up to seventy-five (75) years. In return for a long-term lease of the property, the selected Offeror will provide fair consideration to VA.
