The purpose ofthis synopsis is to announce the intended addition of NSN2915-01-308-5486PR/PN: 6850093E1 (AMC 3B) to the Parker HannifinCorporate Contract, SPM740-01-D9726. This contract is a Requirementscontract that expires on 30 Sep 2013 (See FAR clauses at 52.216-18 -"Ordering", 52-216-19 - "Ordering Limitations" and 52.216-21"Requirements"). Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: supplies (or Services)required are available from only or a limited number of responsiblesources(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and servicesfor which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one,or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Thesolicitation will identify the office where additional information canbe obtained concerning qualifications requirements as cited in eachindividual solicitation. 17.Qualification Requirements do not exist. Specifications, plansor drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or notavailable and cannot be furnished by the government. 18.Export Control does not apply. 19.All proposals received within 45 days after the date ofpublication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government if thecontractor is an approved source. However, award will not be delayedpending approval of a source. Qualifications Requirements do not existas the specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurementdescribed above are not complete or not available, and cannot befurnished by the government. A Determination by the Government not tocomplete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. 20.It is suggested that small business firms or others interestedin subcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm listed. 21.Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns fromofferors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase ofthis acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
