Description

This pre-solicitation notice is being issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Systems Acquisition Office 8, Acquisition Service Center 7, Service Team 3, located at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center 7305 North Military Trail, Building 12 in West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400. This notification is for information purposes only and does not currently represent a formal Request for Proposal. This is a synopsis of a solicitation for Community Based Healthcare for Homeless Veterans, including substance abuse/mental health treatment and services to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the beneficiaries/program participants of the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. This solicitation will be under NAICS code 624221 with a size standard of $7.0 million. A written solicitation will be issued on approximately May 20, 2011. When issued, the solicitation number will be VA-248-11-RP-0254. The required period of performance will be October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 plus four 12-month option year periods that would be exercised at the Government's discretion. In response to the solicitation, once issued, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. John Hull, Contracting Officer at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, is the point of contact for this notice and the individual to whom all questions concerning this anticipated procurement should be addressed. The following is the Statement of Work in draft form which contains a description of the services required.
