Description

Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment supervision necessary to complete Project 679-10-105, Research and SPD Modifications at Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404, in accordance with plans and specifications. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform all work required per contract drawings and specifications. Work includes all construction necessary required within the contract documents and as indicated on the construction drawings. The estimated dollar value of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about April 13, 2011, with an estimated bid opening date of May 17, 2011. Note these dates are estimates and could be sooner or later. This solicitation is set aside for service disabled veteran-owned small businesses. There will be a pre-bid walk through of the project and it is highly recommended that any contractor wishing to bid on this project attend the walk through. The pre-bid walk through time and location will be addressed in the solicitation. All solicitation packages, including drawings will be available to download from the website www.fedbizopps.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Deontrinese Dalton, Contract Specialist, by e-mail to Deontrinese.Dalton@va.gov. It is highly recommended that you complete the interested parties list on the website before downloading the solicitation. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available only at the website. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR WORK AT THE VA MEDICAL CENTER, TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA.
