- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N65236-11-R-0038 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial item contract in accordance with the procedures prescribed in FAR Subpart 13.5. The applicable NAICS code is 334111 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. This acquisition is for 2 each, Application Servers, and 1 each, Storage Server. The specifications are as follows: See Attachment 1 for Requirements. See Attachment 2 for Statement of Compliance that requires an affirmative response for each listed specification before an offeror will be eligible for award. All servers are required to use Intel chipsets and processors to maintain compatibility with the specialized software to be run on the servers. See Attachment 3 - Justification and Approval for details. Proposals shall be submitted electronically no later than 18 April 2011, 1:30 pm Eastern Time. Offerors must comply with the detailed instructions for the format and content of the proposal. Proposals that do not comply with the detailed instructions may be considered unacceptable and may render the offeror ineligible for award. See the addenda to 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-2, and Attachment 2 Statement of Compliance.
