Description
The Government intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ), commercial firm fixed price contract for Elevator Maintenance and Repair for the Department of Logistics and Public Works, Fort Lee Virginia (Prince George County). This requirement will be solicited as an unrestricted solicitation. The applicable NAICS Code is 238290m SIC Code 3534. The applicable size standard is $14M. The solicitation will be posted to Federal Business Opportunities on / or about 30 May 2011. All contractors who wish to submit a RFQ must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and supervision required, except those items specified as Government-furnished, to maintain forty eight (48) elevators located in various buildings at Fort Lee, VA. This work includes the maintenance, repair, service and replacement of defective or worn parts of all components, devices and equipment to maintain the elevators in accordance with the various manufacturer's instructions and specifications herein and subject to the terms and conditions of this contract. The Contractor's performance of work and responsibility shall include all Contractor planning, administration and management necessary to provide all operation, preventive maintenance, service and repairs as specified. The work shall be conducted in strict accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, regulations, codes and directives. The contractor shall perform all administrative services necessary, such as supply, quality control, and maintenance of accurate and complete files of applicable documents to include Federal, State, and Local regulations, codes and laws, technical references, and manufacturer's instructions. A site visit will be planned on or about June 7, 2011. Exact Date and Time TBD. POC for this action is B.
