Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, has a requirement for Sikorsky 76B Initial/Recurrent Pilot Training. FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) firm fixed price type contract for a period of 5 years on a full and open competitive basis. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121, or FAR Part 135, or FAR Part 142 for the King Air 200. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611512 (Flight Training). The size standard is $25.5M. Screening Information Request (SIR) No. DTFACT-11-R-00010 is attached to this announcement. Contract performance shall commence on or around May 25, 2011. Questions on this SIR shall be in writing and be directed to debra.monzo@faa.gov. All questions are due by 2 p.m. local time by April 25, 2011. The offeror's completed response to the attached SIR must be submitted no later than 2 p.m. local time on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in accordance with the instructions set forth in Section L. The Government is not liable for costs associated with the preparation, submittal of inquiries or responses for this announcement and thus, will not reimburse any firm for cost incurred in responding to this public announcement. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at https://faaco.faa.gov/ under current announcements for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement.
