- This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This Sources Sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor is this notice a Request for Proposal (RFP). DLA Troop Support is NOT requesting a quote or proposal in response to this notice. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DLA Troop Support for any purpose. The Government does not intend to pay for information furnished pursuant to this RFI. The purpose for this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to identify parties having an interest in, and the resources to support this requirement. For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 333415 - Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. DLA Troop Support seeks your expression of interest and any suggestion regarding DLA Troop Support's desire to establish supply support of a: LCAC Air Conditioner, NSN 4120-01-512-2399. DLA Troop Support is investigating the possibility of issuing a solicitation for the referenced item under a long-term indefinite quantity type contract featuring fixed-pricing with economic price adjustments. The contract base period may be for a term of one year or two years. Further, it may contain an option or options to extend the term of the contract with the maximum length of the contract being five years.
