Description

This is a solicitation for commercial supplies. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract over a five (5) year ordering period to Woodward Governor Company. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia has established a requirement for the listed Woodward Governor Company commercial supplies according to the following estimates: P/N 8909-555 Speed Loop Testers (Qty 71), P/N 9900-720 Digital Reference Units (Qty 106), P/N 9900-471 Input Power Selector Switches (Qty 106), and P/N 9900-432 2301A Load Sharing and Speed Controls (Qty 106). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within thirty days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
