Description

Sole Source Justification HAPSITE SYSTEM. The solicitation number is FA8601-11-T-0105. The NAICS Code is 334516. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed sole source is Inficon. The purchase is for a HAPSITE system that is a portable gas chromatograph with a mass spectrum analyzer as a detector. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received by 2:00 pm Eastern 15 April 2011 will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Danielle.Keplinger@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Danielle Keplinger, ASC/PKOBB, 937-656-1412 no later than 2:00 pm Eastern 15 April 2011.
