- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This is a Request for Quotes, and any other written notice for this action will not be issued. The Request for Quote document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31 and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 201110214. The NAICS for this requirement is 335312 "Motor and Generator Manufacturing," with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the Frequency Converters which includes the following specifications: INPUT: • Voltage Range: 115/200 VRMS +/-10% • Configuration: 3-Phase, wye, grounded neutral • Frequency Range: 30 to 600 Hz • Power Factor: >/or equal 0.00 • Input Current: </or equal5% at nominal input voltage and full rated load • Protection: Circuit breaker, over/undervoltage, loss of phase, overcurrent • Phase Rotation: Any OUTPUT: • Power: 3.5 kVA continuous • Overload: 125% for 5 minutes; 175% for 10 sec • Configuration: Single Phase • Voltage: 115 VRM +/-1.0% • Frequency: 60 Hz +/-0.1% • Distortion: 2% THD max • Power Factor: 0.8 lagging to 0.8 leading (not damaged by any power factor load) • Efficiency: 89% typical at full load rating • Protection: Over/undervoltage, overload, short circuit Quantity: 2 Each Place of delivery: Edwards Air Force Base, Edwards, CA Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements in this Request for Quotes are invited to submit in writing a complete quote package to include: Detailed product description as it relates to the requirement above; and delivery schedule. If Brand Name or Equal provide those salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award.
