Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is F11PS00587 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 05-43) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This is a total veteran owned small business (VOSB) set-aside procurement under NAISC classification code: 221310 Water Supply and Irrigation Systems. The small business size standard is $7M. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 1 and 8(Pacific and Southwest) has a requirement for emergency repairs and installations of government provided irrigation well pumps to be installed in existing irrigation wells at the Mid-Columbia National Wildlife Refuge McCormack Unit Crop Circles 2,3, and 4. The contractor will be required to fabricate a removable cover for the well head, fabricate new pump to mainline connection including installation of a chem-check, rebuilding of pump bowls, install new water lube bearings, checking of the well shaft(s) for straightness, install new stuffing box, bearing and shaft, and reinstall pump. The contractor shall also conduct a video-log of each well and sonic jet the well tubes as required.
