Description

The Cherry Point Satellite Contract Officer, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Engineering Software Research And Development Inc. (ESRD), 111 Westport Plz. Saint Louis MO 63146-3011, (Cage Code: 006Q7).Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the required items. The Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East Support Team, MCAS Cherry Point, NC intends to procure software subscription for Floating Network License (maintenance and support) and software subscription for Floating License Software (10 Each) for ESRD StressCheck Software for a Base Year and four (4) option years.The sole manufacturer and owner of the software is ESRD. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
