This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with or attached to this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 333923 “ Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System; Manufacturing- Size Standard 500 employees applies. The government reserves the right to make one, multiple or no award resulting from this solicitation. The anticipated result of this solicitation is a Firm-fixed-Price award. CLIN 0001: Supply and Install Seven (7) each 3 Ton Overhead Bridge Cranes in accordance with attached Statement of Requirement. Site visit required in order to submit an offer. Site visit will be held on 19 April 2011 at 9:30 AM, EST; SCROLL DOWN BELOW-SITE VISIT REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW THE SOLICITATION. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL IDENTITY AND PROCUREMENT SENSITIVE RESPONSIBILITIES a.The Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany Ga (MCLBA) Pass and ID Office, Building 3010, is responsible for issuing badges and Common Access Cards (CAC) to all contractor and subcontractor employees in need of access or performing work on the installation. The information required to be submitted by the contractor will be determined by the governing regulations and policies at the time of the contractor ™s request. b.There will be instances in which contractor employees will only be issued the CAC. When this occurs and in addition to the CAC, the contractor will ensure that all contractor employees display a contractor badge with their name and their company name on their person while on board the installation or on official duty elsewhere. c.When communicating (telephone, email, meetings, etc) with Government personnel, contractor employees must first identify themselves as contractor employees. d.When conducting any form of communication with Government personnel, contractor employees must immediately excuse themselves if procurement sensitive or similar information inappropriately enters the discussion in their presence. Offerors responding to this announcement must provide the information required by 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications ”Commercial Items - with their offer or indicate that they have entered the information via Online Representations and Certifications Application at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx. The offeror must provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code, Contractor Establishment code (DUNS number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) to be considered for award. The United States Marine Corps utilizes WAWF as its ONLY authorized method to electronically process vendor requests for payment.
