- U.S. Government Seeks to Lease Approximately 24,075 RSF (Yielding Approximately 20,935 - 21,985 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet ) of Office Space In BROOKLYN, New York Solicitation # 1NY2074 The United States Government seeks to lease approximately 24,075 rentable square feet (approximately 20,935 - 21,985 ANSI/BOMA Office Area square feet) of contiguous office space located on a single floor. Space must be above ground level and must be serviced by at least two (2) elevators, one of which may serve as a freight elevator. The space must meet requirements for fire and life safety plus handicapped access in accordance with PL-90-480. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) years, five (5) years firm with sixty (60) days cancellation notice. DELINEATED AREA: Brooklyn, New York as described by the area below: Northern Boundary : Tillary Street to Cadman Plaza West to Clark Street Western Boundary : Columbia Heights to Pierrepont Street to Pierrepont Place to Montague Terrace to Remsen Street to Hicks Street Southern Boundary : Atlantic Avenue Eastern Boundary: 4 Th Avenue to Flatbush Avenue EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN APRIL 25, 2011 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Building name and address, and location of space in the building Legal description One-eighth inch scale drawing of the space being offered ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet Rentable Square Feet offered and Rental Rate per square foot. (Specifying services, utilities, electricity and tenant improvement allowance included) Percentage of Common Area Factor used to determine the Rentable Square Feet Name, address, telephone number and email address of individual to be contacted Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
