- Agency/Office: Air Education and Training Command Location: Lackland AFB - 802d Contracting Squadron Title: Replace Taxiway Lighting With LED NAICS: 238210 Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation or associated documents must request in writing no later than ten (10) days prior to closing date. Site Visit: 26 Apr 11, 9:00am CST. If you require access to the installation, please request access by e-mailing the following addresses: scott.thomas.25@us.af.mil,or forrest.bradley@us.af.mil. Follow up with a call to the number listed below on the day prior to the scheduled site visit to ensure Base access. Please arrive at least one hours prior to the schedule site visit at the Airman' Gate Visit's Center located at Valley High off of Loop 410, in order to ensure access in timely manner. Meet at 802 CONS, 1655 Selfridge Ave. Bldg. 5450, Lackland AFB, TX 78236 before we go out to the proposed job site. **There will only be one site visit for this project. The project will be set aside for HUBzone Base Passes must be submitted in the following format: DOB: D/L #: Time: 0830-1100 Date: 4/20/2011 Contract #: FA3047-11-B-0007 Description: Synopsis: Title: Replace Taxiway Lighting with LED Kelly Runway Project #: KELL 11-0025 Project Magnitude: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Period of Performance: Anticipated Period of Performance is 50 Calendar days after NTP. POP may be adjusted by the COR if it is justified by the contractor prior to award. Note: The solicitation with the official specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 22 April 2011 at http://www.fbo.gov. Project Scope: Design/Build Description of Work: Design/Build for the replacement of existing taxiway lighting and replace with the new LED taxiway lighting. The contractor shall remove existing Taxiway Lighting with isolation transformer and replace with the new LED Taxiway Lighting with isolation transformer. The new LED lighting will be a direct plug and play type of installation. The Government will provide the LED Fixture, the base plate with gasket and a transformer. All light bases shall be cleaned and free of any foreign material upon replacement of light fixture. All light base bolts shall be replaced with a stainless steel bolts and each treaded hole shall be cleeaned using a small fiber brush with light weight oil. All bolts shall have anti-seize lubricant on treads for future light base plate removal. All bolts shall be toque as per sequence and specifications when mounting light base plate.
