- Description
- The Social Security Administration, Office of Acquisition and Grants, Dallas, Texas intends to modify the existing contract with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department, SS06-10-60012 to add support services for the remainder of the contract term. The purpose of these support services is to assist county deputies in the use of county crime databases such as National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and coordinate investigations with other State law enforcement agencies. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.253(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, deemed to be available from the original source. The applicable NAICS code is 922120. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation and a request for proposal will not be issued and no solicitation will be available. Interested parties may submit their capability statements in writing via email to the designated representative within 10 days of the date this notice is posted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, upon receipt of this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106(b).
