Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona for Sustaining Engineering in support High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM). NAVAIR intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price/Cost Plus Fixed Fee Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-10-G-0006). This contract action will be issued on a sole-source basis to Raytheon Missile Systems (successor to Texas Instruments), the sole designer, developer, and producer of the HARM missile and its associated equipment. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for informative purposes (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Raytheon Missile Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the HARM Missile, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience, and tooling to produce the requirements described herein to satisfy the Government's requirement. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make any award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract modification for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
