Description
Solicitation Westinghouse Anniston (WA) is soliciting cost proposals for a vendor to repair WHS-DOOR-112 and WHS-DOOR-113. Roll up door is out of line and has had hinge and roller failure. Roll up door 112 and 113 are critical for our support of the plant. Roll up doors 112 and 113 need a complete inspection and service of all moving parts. ANCDF is requesting a certified contractor to conduct repairs and perform overall preventative maintenance to WHS-DOOR-112/113 located in the Onsite Warehouse (Bldg 801). The subcontract number assigned to this solicitation is WA-FY11-AR-636 and must be added to the Description section of your liability insurance certificate. STATEMENT OF WORK Provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision required to perform the below scope. SCOPE OF WORK •§ Work includes inspection and repair of replacement of roll-up door components including (but not limited to) rollers, pins, guides, cables, hinges, door seals and chains. Adjust cable and chain tension. Lubrication of rollers, axles, chains, motors, drives, and gears as required. •§ Conduct complete preventative maintenance of the door systems as recommended by the manufacturer. •§ Repair the bent upper panel on WHS-DOOR-112. •§ Inspect and adjust door tracks to ensure rollers do not come out of the track. Inspect and repair or replace the control and safety systems. Verify proper spacing on door roller tracks, especially at the transitions radius from vertical to horizontal travel. Verify proper roller track gap. Verify/test Safety Systems fully functional under operations. There shall be no deviation from the original scope except as allowed through ANCDF Engineering, Subcontracts and/or organization as required depending on the changes being recommended. Contractor(s) will participate in the pre-job briefings to ensure that good communications are established with ANCDF Subcontracts and Maintenance departments before any work begins. Extreme caution shall be taken to ensure that unplanned outages will not occur. POST MAINTENANCE TESTING (PMT) Satisfactory visual and operations inspection by the Process Coordinator and the Warehouse Facility Area Manager (WHS FAM)
