- This is the FINAL Request For Proposal (RFP) for the Clinical Acquisition for Support Services (CLASS) program for the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS). The overall objective of this program is to fill permanent clinical staffing shortages at Air Force Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) throughout the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii and Guam). The CLASS program is designed to supplement the existing clinical staff with qualified clinical personnel (e.g., physicians and nurses) providing direct healthcare services. The CLASS program is a follow-on procurement to the Clinical Support Services (CSS) contracts awarded in November, 2005. The CSS program was awarded as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Multiple Award Contracts. The CLASS program will also be awarded as an 100% Small Business Set Aside, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Multiple Award Contracts. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 622110. The RFP references the NAICS in the following provisions: 52.219-1, 52.219-28 and 252.204-7007. Estimated Number of Awards : The Air Force anticipates awarding 10 Multiple Award Contracts. The contracts will have a four-year ordering period. Task orders may have up to three one-year option periods. Please see the RFP for additional details. Proposals are due by 25 May 2011, 1500 (3:00 p.m.) Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDST), and shall be addressed to the Contracting Point of Contact (POC) as stated in the RFP. RFP QUESTION DUE DATE REVISION/CLARIFICATION : Any questions on the RFP or any of the RFP attachments shall be submitted to all 3 Contracting Points of Contacts listed below, no later than 25 April 2011. The date for technical questions referenced in Section L3.4.16 is also changed to 25 April 2011. NOTE: This change specifically requires all questions be submitted no later than 25 April 2011. NOTE. Intent to Propose: Offerors that anticipate submitting a proposal for the CLASS program are requested to submit an e-mail to the Contractual POCs. The e-mail shall include the RFP number, the name of the offeror, the offeror's POC, and a statement relative to the offeror's intent to submit a proposal. The referenced e-mail notice should be provided to the Contractual POC no later than 29 April 2011. This notice of intent is intended to be used for planning purposes only, and failure to submit a notice in no way precludes any offeror from submitting a proposal.
