Description

MODIFIED PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS IS AS FOLLOWS: DLA Maritime-Portsmouth, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME intends to negotiate via full and open competition, a firm fixed-price contract utilizing the procedures under FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation for an Urgent procurement of 5 Each LEVEL 1 Pressure Proof Fiber Optic/Electrical Hybrid Hull Penetrator ™s manufactured in accordance IAW MIL-C-24231D, MIL-C-24231/13H and NAVSEA Drawing PPD 802-6337554 Rev B. Items are QA Level 1 with DD-1423 Data Requirements. Instructions, specifications and data requirements shall be set forth within the written solicitation. The aforementioned MILSPECS require a First Article Test (FAT); however, due to the urgency of this requirement, the Government is only soliciting FAT waived sources. The solicitation, SPMYM3-11-R-3022, shall be posted on or before 22 APRIL 2011 via a separate notification. Telephone requests are not authorized and shall not be accepted. The applicable NAICS Code for this procurement is 334417 with a small business standard of 500 employees. Important notice: DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration applies. Lack of current registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information may be obtained via the internet at www.ccr.gov or via telephone at 888-227-2423.
