Description
NSN: 3110-01-411-5162, Bearing, Roller, Cylindrical. Purchase Request Number IQC11069009007. A Configuration Control Item. Approved sources: SKF USA, Inc. Cage 38443 and Rolls-Royce Corporation, Cage 63005. Terms are FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Stocked Item. A QCC Code of FCA. Requested delivery is 292 Days ARO. Award from this solicitation can only be made for a bearing manufactured in the United States, or its outlying areas, or Canada and the cost of the bearing components (bearing element, retainer, inner race, or outer race) mined, produced or manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada must exceed 50% of the total cost of the bearing components. See DFARS Clause 252.225-7016, Restriction on Acquisition of Ball and Roller Bearings (Dec 2010) This NSN is a critical application item and is not commercial. Solicited as Unrestricted on an Other than Full and Open competitive basis. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for a one-year period with provisions included to extend the term of the contract up to four (4) one-year periods. The estimated annual quantity is 36 each per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 9 each (base year only) and an annual maximum quantity of 72 each. The minimum delivery order is 9 each and the maximum delivery order quantity is 36 each. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is anticipated to be April 29 th, 2011.
