Description
Project Number 636-11-103, Renovate 4th Floor SE for Polytrauma Clinic. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to renovate the 4th floor southeast corridor for new Polytrauma Clinic space at the Grand Island Division of the Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System located at 2201 North Broadwell, Grand Island, Nebraska 68803. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary, and in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA-263-11-IB-0315 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about April 29, 2011. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit is tentatively scheduled to be held sometime between May 9 and May 13, 2011 (See solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The Bid Opening is tentatively scheduled to be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date/place). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
