- AMENDMENT NOTICE: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. POP 25-APR-2011 TO27-MAY-2011, 1, EA; LI 015, FOB 8J Electrical Power - WarExFFPRequest non-personnel contract for portable electric power generation to be provided to FOB 8J, Fort Hunter Liggett, CA 93928. Power must be in place and connected to structures NLT COB 25 April 2011. Vendor will provide 2 each 250 KW / 3 phase generators with cabling to run to 13 structures, (see attached diagram), with power distribution inside of those structures for lights and outlets, (4-400 watt metal halide lights, and 10 outlets per building). Generators will be diesel Engine Driven (DED) with 24 hour fuel capacity. Generators will be set-up and connected so that while one is providing power, the other is on standby. All delivery, setup, teardown and pickup charges will be included in the pricing. Refueling will be the responsibility of the government.
