Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division plans to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis IAW FAR 6.303-2(a)(4), replacement parts, manufactured solely by King Nutronics a small business. These replacement parts are actual śdirect replacement ť parts/components for the existing calibration equipment used for electrical measuring manufacturing. The proprietary data limits our competition since these parts and only these parts meet the government ™s minimum requirements. There are currently no authorized distributors for the King Nutronics parts. These parts are critical for the safe operation and testing of equipment. The King Nutronic parts required to meet the Government ™s requirement are: Five (5) Metering Valve Repair Kits “ 904-3 Four (4) Transducer Assembly “ 3689-116-1 One (1) Main PCB Assembly “ 3605-262-1 This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.301-1(c). This is not a request for quotes, however; any responsible source having the technical capabilities to meet the requirement described may submit a quote along with their technical capabilities to include complete and detailed technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price, and lead time for consideration via email to: Marlena.warren@navy.mil no later than 2PM April 20, 2011.
